These Power Tappers play a crucial role in distributing and balancing RF power across a distributed antenna system. By attenuating the power more on the coupled port in comparison to the through port, Tappers facilitate an even distribution of power. This characteristic ensures that antennas located farther away from the signal booster receive approximately the same power as antennas in closer proximity, promoting uniform coverage throughout the system.
